Ashanti Shequoiya, better called Ashanti, is an incredibly popular American singer and actress. She's an actress and singer who hails from the United States. Ashanti is a teen performer, songwriter and actress from the United States has been signed to Murder Inc. Records to release her debut album in 2002. In the same year, she made an appearance on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's song, Always on Time as well as Fat Joe's What's Luv? First ever female to make it into the Billboard Hot 100's highest two spots across the United States, with Foolish on number one and What's Luv? The first female artist to have both the top two spots on Billboard Hot 100 in America With Foolish as number one and the other being What's Loving? We can celebrate this special day together. Ashanti Douglas also known as Ashanti as she's more commonly known was born at Glen Cove New York in 1980. Tina Douglas, her mother, is a retired dance teacher. Ken-Kaide Douglas is her father. Kenashia Shia is her youngest sister. Douglas was named Ashanti Douglas from Ghana after her father's Ashanti Empire. The women had enormous power and Douglas wanted Ashantis emulated that. Ashanti sang on the Fat Joe song What's Luv? and Ja Rule's Always on Time. The track was a sample of DeBarge's 1983 single Stay With Me on her debut single Foolish. Ashanti has released her debut self-titled album in 2002. It was released on Irv Goti's Murder Inc. label. The Declaration was Ashanti's fourth studio release, made available on the 3rd of June in 2008. Hey Baby was released for radio and digital on 16 October 2009. Also, she was in the films Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. Aitch has sampled Rock wit U in his Baby on March 10, 2022.
